The Cockrell Family Fund was created in 1998 with a contribution from The Cockrell Foundation.
The purpose of The Cockrell Family Fund is to –
- Promote philanthropy in Houston, Harris
County, Texas
- Provide a gift-giving tool for
educational causes other than The University
of Texas College of Engineering
- Provide a philanthropic training ground
for the directors and family members not
eligible to participate in the business of
The Cockrell Foundation
- Provide family members with an
opportunity to have gifts to the Cockrell
Family Fund matched
